Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get a reply?

On average it takes around two to eight weeks to get a response. Some celebrities - mainly the more popular stars - can take considerably longer, with some taking more than six months, or even a year! Some will also respond within a few days.

More than one address is listed for some celebrities, how do I know which is the best one to use?

Letters sent to any of the addresses listed should reach the celebrity, or the person who deals with their fan mail. Usually, the address listed first is the one we believe to be the best to try first.

Am I guaranteed to receive an autograph from addresses other people have had success with?

Just because an address has been reported as successful doesn't mean you are guaranteed an autograph too. Celebrities can be very inconsistant at responding to autograph requests with some people receiving autographs and others receiving nothing. There are many reasons for this, such as celebrities only being able to cope with so many requests in a given time, and insincere requests which celebrities may believe are from autograph dealers.

Another thing to bear in mind is some people who reported addresses as successful may have been fooled by pre-prints, secretarials or autopenned signatures. Find more details on these
here.
